Description
The DoorKing 1601-154 is a 115 VAC, 3.3 A heater and fan kit for DoorKing gate and barrier operators in climates that routinely drop below 10°F. A built-in thermostat turns the heater on below 40°F and off above 55°F.
It mounts on the included plate inside the operator, on the existing threaded studs or bolts. A heater switch turns the heater and fan off for warm seasons. It wires to the operator's 115 VAC input terminal with copper wire.
Before You Order
- Fits DoorKing 6050/6100, 6300, 9000, 9024 (AC powered, 115 VAC input only, not solar), 9050/9100, 9150, 1601/1602/1603 and 6550.
- Do not install on a 6300, 9000, 9150, 1601-1603 or 6550 fitted with the optional high voltage kit.
- Check the kit's wire run table. The heater load can require heavier wire than the operator alone.
- Bi-parting gates: run separate wires from the primary operator power terminal to the second heater.
