Description
The EMX PR-812-100 is a PR Lite preformed inductive loop, 8 ft x 12 ft, with 100 ft of lead-in attached. It connects to a vehicle loop detector and works with EMX loop detectors. It goes in a saw cut in existing concrete or asphalt, or is tied in place before a new concrete slab is poured.
The loop wire is stranded conductors with XLP thermoplastic elastomer insulation inside flexible nonmetallic TPE tubing, 0.26 in outside diameter. Lightning protection is built in. The 100 ft lead-in is twisted and jacketed. Operating temperature is -4°F to 194°F (-20°C to 90°C). EMX warranty is 2 years.

Before You Order
- A vehicle loop detector is required. The loop does not detect on its own.
- Existing concrete: EMX calls for a 1 in deep saw cut with 45° cuts at the corners, backer material over the loop, then loop sealant.
- Asphalt: EMX calls for a 3/4 in deep saw cut, sand packed over the loop, then new asphalt.
- New concrete: tie the loop to a 1-1/4 in PVC pipe frame and keep it separate from the rebar.
- Measure the run from the loop to the detector. This listing has a 100 ft lead-in. Also listed with a 50 ft lead-in as the PR-812.
