Identify your model
The SlideDriver 15 carries the HySecurity code 222 SS ST and is rated for gates up to 1,500 lb at about 1 ft per second. The SlideDriver 30F (222 EX 1.7 ST), 40 (222 E ST) and 50VF2/3 (222 X3 ST) look similar but handle heavier gates. The 15 and 40 use a 1 hp motor, so check the voltage and phase on the operator nameplate before you order a motor. If your unit has a SmartTouch 725 controller, it is a SlideDriver II.

HySecurity rates the SlideDriver 15 (222 SS ST) for gates up to 1,500 lb, with a travel speed of about 1 ft per second.
How do I release the SlideDriver 15 to move the gate by hand?
Stop the gate and turn the power off. Remove the front chassis cover and pull the toggle handle down. The release is spring loaded and drops fast, so keep your hands clear.
What power circuit does the SlideDriver need?
HySecurity specifies a 20A circuit at minimum, protected by a 20A inverse time breaker, for all AC power connections.
