Description
The EMX MVP D-TEK is a multi-voltage vehicle loop detector that runs on 12 VDC up to 240 VAC. It replaces the voltage-specific D-TEK detectors (12 VDC, 24 VAC and 110 VAC), so one part covers all of those supplies. It uses the same 86CP11 11-pin male plug and housing size as the original D-TEK.
It has two relays rated 1 A at 30 VDC: one presence relay and one that can be set for pulse or presence. Controls are gold plated and cover 10 sensitivity settings, automatic sensitivity boost, fail-safe or fail-secure, pulse on entry or exit, loop frequency, filter, and extend detect of 3, 6 or 9 seconds. The loop input has an isolation transformer, a built-in loop conditioner and surge protection. LEDs show power, frequency, loop fail and detect, and there is a loop frequency counter for diagnostics. Current draw is 18.8 mA at 12 VAC/VDC, 9.5 mA at 24 VDC, 17.3 mA at 24 VAC, 13.5 mA at 115 VAC and 11.0 mA at 237 VAC. Loop inductance range is 20 to 2000 µH. The housing is extruded anodized aluminum with an RF shield, 3.25 in H x 2.56 in W x 3.65 in L. Operating temperature is -40°F to 180°F. EMX warranty is 2 years.
Before You Order
- Needs an LD-11 DIN rail socket or HAR-11 harness. Neither is included.
- Relay contacts are rated 1 A at 30 VDC. Check the load if you are replacing an older D-TEK.
- A loop is required, such as an EMX PR Lite preformed loop or saw-cut loop wire.
- For battery or solar systems, the LP D-TEK draws under 9 mA.
