Description
Discontinued by EMX. The MVP D-TEK is the updated version. EMX replaced the voltage-specific D-TEK detectors, including this 12 VDC model, with the MVP D-TEK, which runs on 12 VDC up to 240 VAC.
The original D-TEK 12VDC is a single-loop vehicle detector with an 86CP11 11-pin male plug that fits an 11-pin DIN rail socket or wire harness. It has a presence relay and a second relay that can be set for pulse or presence, a 10-position sensitivity switch, automatic sensitivity boost, fail-safe or fail-secure modes, filter, and extend detect. The loop input has an isolation transformer and loop conditioner, and the unit has loop diagnostics, a loop frequency counter, 2 LED indicators and gold-plated controls. Loop inductance range is 20 to 2000 µH. The housing is extruded anodized aluminum with an RF shield, 3.25 in H x 2.56 in W x 3.65 in L, rated -40°F to 180°F.
Before You Order
- The MVP D-TEK uses the same 86CP11 11-pin plug and housing size, so it fits an existing LD-11 socket or HAR-11 harness.
- MVP D-TEK relay contacts are rated 1 A at 30 VDC. The standard D-TEK relays were rated 5 A at 125 VAC. Check the load on the relay before swapping.
- Set the MVP D-TEK switches to match the old detector's settings.
- The DTEK 24VAC and DTEK 110VAC listings are replaced by the same MVP D-TEK.
