Description
The AES EL00IG e-Loop In-Ground is a wireless vehicle sensor for exit mode that mounts flush in the driveway. It is the sensor only, with no transceiver. When a vehicle passes over it, the sensor signals an AES e-Trans transceiver at the gate operator to open the gate. No saw-cut loop or trenching.
The sensor installs in a 3.5 in (89 mm) core-drilled hole, 2.6 to 2.75 in (65 to 70 mm) deep, sealed with Sikaflex or a similar compound, and sits flush with the driveway. It is rated IP68 and is not affected by ground movement. Coding and calibration are done with the supplied magnet. The radio link is 433.39 MHz with 128-bit AES encryption, with range up to 164 ft (50 m). A 14,500 mAh battery gives up to 6 to 10 years of life depending on mode, and is replaced from the top. Detection uses a magnetometer. The EL00IG is fixed in exit mode.

Before You Order
- Sensor only. You need an AES e-Trans transceiver (such as the ETRANS50) at the gate operator. The EL00IG-K kit includes the ETRANS50.
- Exit mode only; AES says it cannot be changed. For presence detection, see the EL00IG-RAD.
- You need a 3.5 in (89 mm) core drill and a sealing compound such as Sikaflex.
- Coding and calibration use a magnet, which comes with the kit version.
- The gate operator needs a dedicated open input with auto-close turned on.
- Do not mount near high-voltage cables. They can affect detection.
