Description
EMX CarSense in-ground vehicle probe with a 200 ft lead (SKU Probe-200). This is the sensing probe for the EMX CarSense 101 (CS-101) vehicle motion detector. The probe senses a moving ferrous vehicle by the change it causes in the earth's magnetic field. It has no loop to saw cut into the pavement.
The probe is a sealed PVC tube, 17 in long and 1 in diameter, on a shielded direct burial lead-in cable. This listing has the 200 ft lead. EMX rates the probe for -40°F to 170°F. The CS-101 detects moving vehicles only. It is not a presence detector.
Before You Order
- Requires the EMX CarSense CS-101 detector, sold separately.
- Pick the lead length that reaches from the probe location to the CS-101 without a splice. Lead lengths offered here: 50 ft, 100 ft, 150 ft and 200 ft.
- EMX calls for burying the probe at least 6 in deep, parallel to the driveway, where it cannot move.
