Description

Discontinued by Reno A&E. The BX-4 is the updated version. The AX-4 is a single channel, single output loop detector for 12 VDC, 24 VDC or 24 VAC, with a rear 11-pin connector. The housing is 2.50 x 1.55 x 3.50 in, excluding the connector.

Settings are made with six external and two internal DIP switches: four sensitivity levels, four loop frequencies, sensitivity boost, a 2 second delay, True Presence or Limited Presence, and pulse on entry or on exit. Detect memory holds a call through power drops up to 2 seconds. Power, Detect and Fail LEDs. Fail-safe operation. It operates from -30°F to 180°F.

Before You Order

No longer made. The BX-4 is the replacement on the same power and 11-pin connector.
The BX-4 has two relay outputs and a rotary sensitivity switch. Set it up from the BX manual when swapping.
The AX-3 was the 120 VAC version.
