Description
Discontinued by Reno A&E. The AX2DL-3-1C NO is a two channel loop detector with directional logic and one relay output per channel. It has a single rear 11-pin Amphenol connector and normally open (NO) relay contacts. It runs on 120 VAC (89 to 135 VAC). The housing is 3.00 x 1.75 x 4.30 in, excluding the connector.
Directional logic uses two loops in the same lane, from overlapping to 6 ft apart. The leading loop sets a pending state and the trailing loop gives the output, so the detector signals only for travel in one direction. Each channel runs True Presence or a 250 ms pulse on entry. Four sensitivity levels and four loop frequencies per channel are set with front panel DIP switches, with sensitivity boost and channel scanning. Power-down memory tracks loop status through power interruptions of any length. Relays are rated 6 A. Fail-safe: on power loss or a loop fault, the outputs go to the detect state. It operates from -30°F to 180°F.

2C (Dual Connector) models do not use the (NO) Normally Open or (NC) Normally Closed contact designation. Both contacts are accessible for each channel.
