Description
Discontinued by Reno A&E. The BX-4 is the updated version. The B-4 is a single channel loop detector with two relay outputs and a rear 11-pin Amphenol style connector. It runs on 12 VDC, 24 VDC or 24 VAC (10 to 35 V AC/DC). The housing is 3.00 x 1.75 x 4.30 in, excluding the connector.
Output A runs Limited Presence or True Presence. Output B is set from the factory for a 250 ms pulse on entry, and can be changed to presence or pulse on exit with internal DIP switches. A 2 second call delay can be enabled on both outputs. Eight sensitivity levels and four loop frequencies are set with internal DIP switches and a front panel pushbutton. Output A is fail-safe and Output B is fail-secure. Relays are rated 6 A. It operates from -30°F to 180°F.

- No longer made. The BX-4 is the replacement on the same power and 11-pin connector, with external DIP switches and a rotary sensitivity switch.
- Model B codes: 3 = 120 VAC, 4 = 10 to 35 V AC/DC, DP = Dual Presence (Output B in presence mode).
- Wires with an 11-pin harness such as the Reno A&E LMH802-4.
