Description
The AES EL00IG-RAD e-Loop In-Ground is a wireless vehicle sensor for presence mode that mounts flush in the driveway, with magnetometer and radar detection. It is the sensor only, with no transceiver. The e-Trans transceiver relay stays latched while a vehicle is over the sensor. No saw-cut loop or trenching.
The sensor installs in a 3.5 in (89 mm) core-drilled hole, 2.6 to 2.75 in (65 to 70 mm) deep, sealed with Sikaflex or a similar compound, and sits flush with the driveway. It is rated IP68 and is not affected by ground movement. Coding and calibration are done with the supplied magnet. The radio link is 433.39 MHz with 128-bit AES encryption, with range up to 164 ft (50 m). A 14,500 mAh battery gives up to 6 to 10 years of life depending on mode, and is replaced from the top. The EL00IG-RAD adds radar to the magnetometer (dual sensing). It ships in presence mode and can be switched to exit mode.

Before You Order
- Sensor only. You need an AES e-Trans transceiver (such as the ETRANS50) at the gate operator. The EL00IG-RAD-K kit includes the ETRANS50.
- Ships in presence mode and can be set to exit mode. AES says not to use presence mode as a personal safety device.
- You need a 3.5 in (89 mm) core drill and a sealing compound such as Sikaflex.
- Coding and calibration use a magnet, which comes with the kit version.
- Do not mount near high-voltage cables. They can affect detection.

Our return policy lasts for only 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund. Some items such as Gate Operators or custom parts may not be returnable or carry a restocking fee if returned.
