Description
The AES EL00IG-RAD-K is the e-Loop In-Ground wireless vehicle detection kit for presence mode. It pairs the flush-mount EL00IG-RAD magnetometer and radar sensor with an ETRANS50 e-Trans 50 transceiver. The transceiver relay stays latched while a vehicle is over the sensor. No saw-cut loop or trenching.
The sensor installs in a 3.5 in (89 mm) core-drilled hole, 2.6 to 2.75 in (65 to 70 mm) deep, sealed with Sikaflex or a similar compound, and sits flush with the driveway. It is rated IP68 and is not affected by ground movement. Coding and calibration are done with the supplied magnet. The radio link is 433.39 MHz with 128-bit AES encryption, with range up to 164 ft (50 m). A 14,500 mAh battery gives up to 6 to 10 years of life depending on mode, and is replaced from the top. The EL00IG-RAD adds radar to the magnetometer (dual sensing). It ships in presence mode and can be switched to exit mode. The ETRANS50 runs on 10-36 VDC per the AES data sheet and has one relay output (COM and N/O, 1 A) that wires to the open input of the gate operator.

- Complete kit. The EL00IG-RAD listing is the sensor only, for adding a sensor to an existing e-Trans transceiver.
- Ships in presence mode and can be set to exit mode. AES says not to use presence mode as a personal safety device.
- You need a 3.5 in (89 mm) core drill and a sealing compound such as Sikaflex.
- AES rates the ETRANS50 for indoor use. Mount it inside the operator or in a weatherproof plastic box.
- Do not mount near high-voltage cables. They can affect detection.
